SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2024 - 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

For our 2024 Harvest Dinner, we're highlighting and supporting our neighbors at the Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School.

It will be an inspiring afternoon and evening filled with walks, food literacy talks, networking, dining, and family-friendly outdoor activities. We'll showcase the remarkable work of students and faculty engaged in various farming, aquaponics, food security, and environmental initiatives. Come to learn, connect, and celebrate their outstanding efforts.

Before dinner, there will be guided walking farm tours, lawn games, and other activities. During a savory dinner and dessert, Speaker Maggie Nowak will present information about food literacy and invite you to share your own insights related to the intersections of farming, relationships, and the environment. In support of all attendees, quieter, self-serve, family-friendly activities will remain available throughout the afternoon and evening, including during the optional, one-mile, 45 minute walking tour.

The 2024 Kinship Farm Harvest Dinner and all activities will take place at Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School located at 565 Maple Street, Danvers, MA. Please dress for both indoor and outdoor activities, and if needed, feel free to bring a cozy blanket. No outside food, drinks, or petting of animals will be permitted.

3:00 p.m. - Registration for family-friendly guided farm tours and other activities 

5:00 p.m. - Buffet dinner served by Culinary Arts students, in Smith Hall Cafeteria

6:00 p.m. - Presentations and interactive discussions with speakers, faculty and students

7:00 p.m. - Dessert served by Culinary Arts students, with ongoing interactive discussions

7:30 p.m. - Closing remarks and mingling until 8 p.m. departures
